Alyse Rosner

Alyse Rosner is known for large scale abstract paintings melding graphite rubbings, gestural brushwork, obsessive marks and transparent color reflecting her immediate surroundings, personal experience and environmental concerns. A graduate of the University of Michigan and The American University, she’s received grants from the Connecticut Office of the Arts and The Sustainable Arts Foundation. Her work was recently acquired by Montefiore Einstein, Eastern Connecticut State University, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and can be seen in the The Kirkpatrick Bank Collection, the Connecticut Artist Collection, and numerous public and private collections.
